5 on Friday...

1. One of my favorite Easter pictures. My pretty girls. : )

2. The weather has been terrible this week. We've had lots of rain and strong winds. I hope we have better weather soon.

3. We have a mallard duck nesting (11 eggs) in our raised flower bed.  I'm worried about how the little ones will get down if/when they hatch without getting hurt. I'm pretty sure that my husband is tired of hearing me talk about it but I am truly concerned about this.

4. The ROYAL WEDDING. Did you watch? I have it DVR'd for later viewing although I did watch a bit of in on my PC at work. Beautiful dress, lovely Bride, proud Prince, and the HATS. I'm still laughing a bit *alot*. The one with the pink bow sticking straight up, stuck to the front of that girls head (Prince Andrew's daugher, if I remember right) has got to be the most ridiculous looking hat I've ever seen. Take a look. Now LOL! You know you WANT *HAVE* to.  HaHa!

5. My grandson and I are having a sleepover tonight and heading to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory tomorrow. Its our favorite place to have lunch together. : )

Happy Easter...

5 on Friday...

1. I think my body is finally adjusting to the Zyrtec I've been taking for these nasty allergies. I feel much better, have a little more energy and am sleeping like a baby, most nights. : )
2. My son is going to try to quit smoking. THIS friends makes me very HAPPY! : )  : ) : )
3. I'd love to have one of these for my yard. The tear drop one to be exact. Cute...Cute!
4. Take a look here. ADORABLE! I wonder if my little Deuce would like that swing. *wink*
5. Easter is this weekend. My husband found some little 'real' chicks for sale this week. Hmmmm...I wonder if the Gandbabies would like to have one for Easter.

SGK Race for the Cure...

The morning started out a little on the chilly side but it did warm up a little by the time the race started. My sister and I finished the race in 40 minutes give or take a few seconds. I made a little collage but alot of my pictures were blurry (not sure why) as my camera seems to be working fine. The Zoo had an elephant standing on a hill about half way through the race with breast cancer ribbons painted on its ears. Click on the collage for a better view.

5 on Friday...

1. Allergies...yuck, don't like em, don't want em and the meds zap me. So its really a lose lose situation.
2. My husband, the dog and I took a long walk through a park yesterday. I LOVE SPRING minus the allergies.
3. Rain and the mid 50's in the forcast for tomorrow's walk. I hope the rain stays away.
4. My lilacs are about to bloom. Oh... how I wish you could smell them. They smell wonderful! : )
5. Something really AWESOME may happen next week. I have my fingers and toes crossed.

Prompt #15: Me...An album I made all about me in a class with CZ over at BPS.

4.11...Eleven on the 11th...

Just a little something I saw somewhere out in blogland but once again I did not write it down. If I remember right whomever it was made their monthly posts into a mini album. Good idea...I may also.
I think it will be interesting to look back to see how these things change for me from month to month. I'm pretty sure some of them will NOT but we shall see.

  1. Weathering: Allergies...I think!
  2. Listening: To The Band Perry. 
  3. Reading: My camera manual. I'm determined here.
  4. Drinking: Ice water. I hear its good for you.
  5. Wearing: Jeans, tee, a cardigan and mary jane shoes.
  6. Feeling: Better
  7. Wanting: To do a little crafting.
  8. Needing: More free time.
  9. Thinking: About work.

11. Wondering: Why...I'll just leave it at that for now.

5 on Friday...

1. I haven't been sleeping well this week. Why? Who knows. Stress maybe! I hope to sleep in on Saturday.
2. I've had an achy body for the last couple of days. I'm not sure why but I hope it stops sooner than later.
3. I am becoming a fan of Kid Rock's music and even him a bit. Those of you who know me will probably think that this is a little strange.
4. My daughter and I have been trying to decide what to make for a craft fair in the fall. We have been surfing the internet and are leaning toward accessories at this time.
5. I plan to gather some crafting supplies this weekend for #4. I'd really like to get some wool felt. I've found a couple of vendors on Etsy. If any of you know a good place to purchase it, please share. Thank you!

Prompt #14: Stripes...The American Flag on a very sunny but windy day.

5 on Friday...

1. Once again the husband did the house work this week, all of it including the windows, inside and out. He's such a sweetheart and I really appreciate all he does for me. *kiss*kiss*
2. I am now signed up for this and it will be interesting to see how long it takes me to walk a 5K. Any guesses?
3. I've been wanting to try out digi scrapping for awhile now so I signed up for this class. It will give me a chance to use the digital scrapping supplies that I have accumulated from other classes I've taken in the past.
4. The blueberry donut holes from Dunkin' Donuts are wonderful, I'm eating one right now! : )
5. I'm trying to talk my daughter into doing a craft show with me in the future. If so we need to make a plan and get our craft on!
