Baby Shower Favors...
My Sister and Daughter In Law hosted a Baby Shower for my Daughter this month. I wasn't allowed to help out with things, so I thought I'd make a few party favors. They are shaped like sour-cream containers and filled with personalized M&M's, the M&M's are dark pink, red and white and they have the baby's name and It's a Girl on them.

A,B,Cheesecake...
My Grandson will soon be starting Kindergarten so I purchased him a book to practice writing his ABC's. Each time he reaches a certain point in the book I take him to a restaurant of his choice for lunch and dessert. He reached one of those points this month and we went to the CheeseCake Factory. This is the dessert we had, doesn't it look YUMMY:) He is near the end of the book and I am looking forward to our next lunch date.

Baby Jayna in 4D...
I went with my daugher and son-in-law for a 4D ultrasound of Baby Jayna. OMG - it was BEAUTIFUL and has to be one of the neatest thing I've ever seen, other than an actual birth of course. She is always moving around like crazy but of course when we went for this she decided to be still for awhile. She stretched, yawned, opened her eyes, sucked her bottom lip and moved her hands and arms around a little. I could not take my eyes off the TV screen, afraid if I did I might miss something. I look at these pictures everyday and I'm still amazed with them. Do this with your Daughter if you get the chance, I'm sure you will be amazed also. In about 6 weeks Baby Jayna will be here, I think Mom and Dad are ready. I am so happy for them and I know that they will make GREAT parents.

Sunglasses, Watermelon, The Bird & Sparklers...
A few family members came over for the Fourth of July to eat, drink, play a couple of yard games, set off some fireworks and of course we had to try on the Sunglasses that I purchased at Target. The hat was really little favors for the young ones but somehow ended up on my BIL head. All in all we had a great time and hopefully we will do this again next year. I can not for the life of me get a decent picture of fireworks (even when I put the camera in the fireworks mode) so no pictures of them here.
My BIL-he's always acting silly!

Deuce here-looking too cool!

Just me in my Liberty Sunglasses! I thought they were cute!

My Grandson still not real comfortable with sparklers!

A Doctor Visit with Charlie and Jayna...
This month I got to go with my daughter to a Dr. appt. I had been hoping that she would ask me to go and I was so excited when she asked me if I wanted to. Of course I wanted to go! She and her husband are due to have their first baby and our first grand-daughter around the end of August/first of September. While we were waiting for the Dr. to see her I asked her to do the heart hands on her belly so I could take a picture ( I just LOVE these pictures) and I had to have one. So even though I don't think she wanted to she did. THANKS CHARLIE. I Love You. When the Dr. came in and put the doppler on her belly, she instantly found the HEART BEAT and boy or should I say GIRL was it strong and fast. This is definately one of the greatest moments of my life and I am so happy that I got to share this with her.

Got Sketch 101 Class LO...
"TRACTOR TROUBLES" My grandson and his John Deere tractor. It was so cute how he would bend down while sitting on the tractor and use his hand to make it go. Then when it would get stuck he would get off the tractor and even though he was to little to push it out of the snow he would push with all his might. After a bit of letting him try his Daddy helped him push it out.

The Koalas and the Kodiak 08...
The Koalas were the reason we waited a week for our Annual Zoo Trip. They were very cute but not active at all (they do sleep 18 hours a day) and the display wasn't all that great. There were just a couple of trees for them to sit in and they were separated by a glass wall, enclosed in glass and there were some bright lights that put a terrible glare on the glass. Seemed strange but I'm sure there was a reason for it being this way. Anyway I could only get a picture of one of them as the other one was pretty much facing the back wall of the display. So here it is...

If you look closely you can see his eyes open.
This only happened for a brief moment and I managed to
get a decent picture of it. Isn't it CUTE?
