Ice,Ice,Baby...
We had a bit of an ice storm overnight and today thirty three states in the USA are under a winter storm warning. Thats over half of the USA people. What's up with this crazy weather. I went into work but left at noon for fear of not making it home if we get the weather that is expected. The news is reporting that it may be three times worse than last night. We got about an inch of ice overnight and although its pretty to look at the sound of trees cracking in the wind because they are covered in ice is very unsettling. And of course theres always the chance we could lose power. Boo on Winter!

I just heard about all of your snow and ice on the news tonight! BRRRR! You'll be pleased to know that summer has finally hit us here and we've had four straight days with the temps between 35 and 40 degrees celcius. However we are expecting torrential rain again in the next couple of days courtesy of cyclone Yasi!
What's up with this whacky weather all around the world - we've had flooding and major cyclones all in a few short weeks!
