It's Still Coming Down...

Overnight we got somewhere between 7" and 9" of the fluffy white stuff and it's still snowing. We are supposed to get another inch or so today and then it's supposed to get colder for the next few days. YUCK! Maybe I'll build my own snowman (see last post) LOL.
My poor little Deuce had a time trying to find a potty spot this morning, he's pretty short and even though the husband shoveled him out a spot he hopped through snow as deep as he is tall to find a spot. He loves the snow and hops around in it like a little rabbit but he get cold easy and this doesn't last long. It is so fun to watch him play.
We came in to work early so that we (really the husband) could beat the mess thats going to be out on the roads today. He thinks that it's a crime to miss work. Me, NOT!
I am supposed to go to a punch class this evening which I'm pretty sure will be cancelled due to the weather. Who really wants to go out in this stuff anyway? NOT ME! Oh wait I've already been out in it but not really by choice. You that know the husband know exactly what I mean. I will just do my normal routine this evening a few wine coolers, some good music and a clean house in no time at all.

Stay Warm, Dry and Have a Great Day.

It's Snowing...

I saw this picture on Scrapjazz today and it made me think just how much I dislike WINTER. You know cold, dark, gloomy, you get the picture right? I could go on and on here.

It started snowing around lunch time and we are supposed to get 6-12 inches of snow in the next 24 hours. Sitting inside looking out it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait to see what it will look like first thing tomorrow morning. Pictures? Maybe!

Oink-Oink...

Chinese New Year is today. Go here to calculate your Chinese Zodiac. I'm a pig according to the site and not just any ol' pig an earth pig. Very interesting! Funny stuff!

Scrapping...

I forgot to mention that while I was home Friday I managed to slice my thumb open. Yes, I was changing the blade on my Fiskars trimmer and I'm not sure how it happened but it is one pretty good cut, probably needed a couple of stitches but I opted not to get it treated. I've kept it clean and put Neosporin on it since Friday and it's healing quite nicely.
So on Saturday we (3 of us) managed to complete the Album for our hairdresser. It turned out great and as soon as my Daughter gets pictures posted I'll share a link. The album is something she designed, I just helped out alot. I did not realize how much work went into making a complete album as I have never made one. I have a couple of vacations albums I'd like to do, so once again just as soon as I get some of those oldies completed maybe just maybe I'll work on one.
I also wanted to let you know that I've stumbled across some really good blogs lately and I am working on adding them to my side bar. Take a look!

8:00 A.M. Sharp...

Let the scrapbooking begin. A couple of the girls will be arriving soon. I skipped work yesterday, as it was -12 outside, to freakin cold for me, got all my house work done and gathered up a few things to work on. My daughter and I will be working on a scrapbook for our hairdresser, she is due to have a baby girl in March. If I have time after we complete that, I plan on completing some of those oldies I have laying around. I did promise myself that I'd complete them before I started anything new. I can't wait to get those completed so that I can work on some new stuff, maybe these monthly crops will help motivate me.

Remember The Links...

I promised last week. Here's one for you. Our crop group was going to do this last year but I believe only one of us started the project. I have a few decks of cards for projects like this so maybe when I get some of the oldies completed I will give it another shot. We are headed to a retirement party for my BIL a little later so I need to get some things ready to go. I will share a few more links later this weekend.

Have A Great Weekend

Wii...

Have I been having fun. That Wii Fit is kickin my butt, but I love it. I think it was just what I needed to get me exercising. You would not believe my age the first time I got on it and here I thought I was in pretty decent shape. It has improved in the last couple of weeks though, I am now my real age which I'm not telling. Heck, I think everyone should own one.

Resolutions...

None for me this year, I've made them in the past and have never really followed through. I wonder how many people do? I'm guessing its about 50/50. I am however going to work on a few things. I've started exercising with the Wii Fit, trying to eat a little healthier and I even got a new do ( well I've had it before but not for a few months).
Today I started on the journal my daughter made me in 2007, wow there are alot of questions in that jar. I was also reading some blogs earlier and I'd love to do some of the scrapping projects out there, but I have numerous ones to finish up first, so no new projects for now. I'll bookmark them for later viewing. And later I give you a link or two so you can see what I'm talking about. Your gonna love them.
