TOTAL EXCITEMENT...

BIG DAY tomorrow. My daughter will be induced tomorrow at 7:30 A.M. and baby Jayna should be here by this time tomorrow :) Wish them luck. This pregnancy has not been the greatest for her although I know she wouldn't trade it for anything. Gotta get a little rest as tomorrow may be a long day. Check back soon for pictures of the precious little one.

State Fair 08...

Went to the Fair with my Sister. I took my Grandson, she took my niece. Boy did they keep us busy. We checked out the tractors, listened to a little music, looked at the animals, ate and rode the rides. Too many things to see in a day but we tried. On the way home my niece decided to kick her shoe off and out the window it went. No-we didn't get it back. It's still out there somewhere.

And of all the yummy things to eat at the Fair. My sweet little Grandson picked this.

And he ate every bite of it. Such a good choice for a 5 year old especially since they have so much junk food there. He did however have a small ice cream cone and a snow cone later on.

Good Friends...

It's been such a long time since we've visited L and S. They are such GREAT friends. I can't even remember the last time we paid them a visit. Shame on us! Sorry guys. It was really good to see them. They have a new Grandson also and we got to meet him for the first time. How adorable is he? We talked awhile (a little catching up) and went out for dinner. Thanks Guys! Hopefully we can do this again soon. We miss you guys.

Three Days at the Brickyard...

Err..I mean the Allstate 400.

Day 1-Practice Day
We got to see an interview with Jeff Gordon our FAVORITE driver.

Day 2-Qualifications
Our Grandson loves racing (gets this from his Pawpaw) as we were walking up to our seats he looks up at Pawpaw and says "The sweet smell of exhaust" yeah-I think he's hooked.

Day 3-Race Day
Got myself a little tattoo-How bout' them white legs. They hardly ever see the sun.

We also got to go up on the back side of some stands that overlook the garage area. Look what we found!

And last but not least, the Museum. If your ever in town and if you like racing this is a must see. If your a race fan you will love this.

County Fair 7/08...

Well what was supposed to be a Helicoper ride at the county fair ended up not being. It was very hot out and the Helicoper rides didn't start until 4 or 5 P.M. We got there around noon and walked thru the barns to look at the animals. While the guys rested and got a drink my DIL and I walked thru the Poultry Barn. We spotted this funny looking chicken/bird. I wish I could remember the name of it. It looks to me as if it's wearing some kind collar. Very unique!

After we caught up with the guys, they rode a few of the rides. Our Grandson loves the bumper cars as you can tell by the look on his face. All in all we had a great time. Helicopter! Maybe next year.
