Pumpkin Carving 2010...

The husband and our Grandson's spent last evening carving pumpkins. We had them both overnight last night and I can't remember the last time I was this tired.  I guess it may have something to do with running around non-stop, staying up late with two energetic boys and sleeping on the couch. We did enjoy our time with them and plan to do it again someday but not until after we rest up awhile. : )

10-10-10...

Here's what I did today...my first crochet class! Something I've wanted to do for years. Please, by all means ignore the hair...I had to cancel my hair appt. for Grandparents Day. I can now single and double crochet. : ) I think I will make a scarf for starters.

Pumpkin Patch 2010...

Today we visited the Pumpkin Patch for a couple of hours. It seemed as if no one was really into it this year...maybe it was the weather (upper 80's) everyone was hot including me, maybe it was the place...tons of people and not alot to do. I think we may have to find a new place to visit next year. We did take a hayride out to gather up a few pumpkins to bring home. Here are the little pumpkin inspectors at work.

I Love Being A Grandparent...

Today was Grandparents Day at my Grandsons school. I visited his classroom, meet his teacher and some of his classmates, had cookies while the kids sang a couple of sweet songs to all the Grandparents and came home with a pretty little flower and an Awesome book that my Grandson made just for me.  : )

Tie-Dying...

Last weekend we got together to do a little tie-dying. I have never tie-dyed anything before and thought that within a few hours I would have something ready to wear. NOT! It takes forever from start to finish.

Oh and I think I figured out the collage thing on Picasa...take a look.

Fun Times...

The hubs, our daughter and I got to fly in a bi-plane this weekend. I went last and the pilot was sweet enough to keep me in the air long enough to see the sunset. I had my camera in my pocket but was so busy keeping my eye on the sun that I forgot about it until we were landing. It was absolutely beautiful and by the time we were landing it started to rain. I snapped a picture of the pilot in the little mirror and didn't even think about the flash going off. Luckily we were on the ground before I blinded him. Oops. We had to rush out so they could get the plane back in the hanger. I'm pretty sure we'd all go again if given the chance. We shall see...
