I was going to use a photo of my dog for the prompt "two" this week but the one I wanted to use did not work out. You are probably wondering how in the world the Prompt "two" has anything to do with my dog. Well, his name is Deuce and I thought it would be a different spin on the prompt "two". Here's the photo that I am not using. It was taken with my Iphone.

Prompt #13: Two...The number two on my mailbox post. Spiderweb included. Very simple this week but I really like the red background.

5 on Friday...

1. My retired husband cleaned most of the house for me yesterday while I was at work. : )
2. I've found something new that hopefully the husband and I will enjoy doing together.
3. We've tried to find one cache but failed twice so far and they say its an easy one to find. HA!
 We will not give up. We plan to look again this weekend but that will depend on the weather.
4. My husband thinks that city girls ( as he calls me) are dumb enough to stick our hands into a brush pile while hunting for the cache. Umm...no city girls are not dumb we know all about spiders, snakes and critters. Golly, geez you'd think after being together for 23 years he'd know me better than that. I don't like spiders and snakes (sing along) or critters.
5. Have you seen this. Poor doggy. Mine swallows/gulps hard when he gets into trouble.

Prompt #12: Abstract...Graffiti on a building near work.

5 on Friday...

1. Go sign up for this RIGHT NOW but hurry because its only up for one week.
2. I made one of these in less than 20 minutes last weekend. Easy peasy, inexpensive (less than $3.00) blue and oh so pretty.
3. I'm pretty sure that I gained a few pounds yesterday because I went here. Oh my goodness. : ) Yum!
4. To much junk food and not enough exercising this week. : (  Shame on me! I WILL do better next week. Pinky swear!
5. Busy weekend ahead. Sleepovers with the Grandbabies on Friday and Saturday. Pizza party with Basketball team on Saturday afternoon. Sunday ?.

Some facts about the Shamrock/clover.

According to St. Patrick's Day lore, Patrick used the three leaves of a shamrock to explain the Christian holy trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Trifolium dubnium, the wild-growing, three-leaf clover that some botanists consider the official shamrock, is an annual plant that germinates in the spring.

It is estimated that there is one four leaf clover for every 10,000 three-leaf ones.

I've found only two 4 leaf clovers in my lifetime. You?

A room that thankfully I do not see often.  

Prompt #11: Room...My brothers room at the Heart Hospital.

5 on Friday...

1. I need to get signed up for this ASAP. I will be walking for a friend (Saffron) and a sister in law (Donna) both of whom lost their lives to breast cancer.
2. I am on the lookout for an old window (like this) to hang above my shamantle (shelf/mantle).  I also wouldn't mind having that laundry room in my house.
3. I did a little scrapping last weekend. I'm waiting for one last item to arrive in the mail before I can complete it.
4. Looks like we will be getting a free shagbark hickory tree to plant in the yard. Jayna and Pawpaw will be planting this one. Pawpaw doesn't know yet but he told me he needed to plant a tree with Jayna.
5. I wonder how long one should start planning before visiting another country? I need to start by getting a passport.

52-10...

This was not a favorite subject for me. All I could think of was faces and to take a picture of myself which I really did not want to do. After complaining to my husband about it he, who by the way never lets me take his picture turned to me, removed his glasses and said "here take a picture of me but you can't let anyone see it". I said "OK" knowing that I would be using it for this weeks prompt.  : ) I knew I couldn't ask him to move into better light or he would change his mind. So I just pointed the camera and took a shot.

Prompt #10: Wrinkles...My husband. Not really many wrinkles but hey he volunteered! : )

I also came home from work on Tuesday, walked into the living room and the dogs chair was a mess. I straightened it up and he jumped into it and wallowed in it until it looked exactly like it did before I straightened it. I guess he was letting me know that he likes it messed up. Me..not so much!

Fat Tuesday First...

My daughter and I celebrated a little at work this morning. You know...like 5 minutes or so. I supplied the Kings Cake and the crazy glasses. A rep brought in the cupcakes this afternoon. Until today I've never had a Kings Cake so my daughter gave me a little lesson on the whole Fat Tuesday, Kings Cake, Mardi Gras celebration thing. Yes, I live in a cave or atleast some may think I do. The baby went home with her so next year she will be bringing the cake and favors for our 5 minute Fat Tuesday celebration. I know that she can hardly wait. *wink*

Five on Friday...

1. It's National Craft Month. Get your craft on here. Tons of crafty ideas.
2. I was one of three winners of yesterdays giveaway at WCS. How exciting is that : )
3. I've been missing scrapbooking. Maybe winning yesterday's giveaway will give me the push I need to get started again.
4. Still crocheting...I've made a couple of items I found here. Simple and easy. I'll share pictures soon.
5. I always watch for the Robin's to return in the Spring. I saw my first one this year on March 1st. Spring is near. :  )
