1. Fitting in a little exercise 4 days a week. Noticing results. Yeah Me!
2. This creeps me out. Why would anyone make such a thing.
3. Thrift store shopping this weekend for an Easter project.
4. Snow on the ground again this morning. Boo! : (
5. Higher temperatures this weekend. Bye-Bye snow!  : )

Labels and My OCD...

I was looking for a post on my blog over the weekend and had a bit of a time locating it. Huh...what...I'm the one that labeled it. So with that being said I've decided to go through all my post and label them so that I can find what I'm looking for the first time. My OCD told me to do this, so I must...right away! Now what label shall I use for this post. Oh...I've got it!

Time to complete 3.5 hours which includes removing a couple of rows and redoing them due to bad joining. It's so warm and cozy but our weather has changed for the better so it may be next winter before I actually get to wear it. But trust me, I don't mind one bit I'm so over winter weather for awhile.

Five on Friday...

1. I've dubbed this week at work "Hell Week"! Dont' ask!
2. Temperatures in the 60's a few days this week. : )
3. I'm thinking I might like hybrid scrapping. Must try!
4. Working on another crochet project.
5. Sometimes...when you hold out for everything, you walk away with nothing. (Something to ponder)

I struggled to find a photo for the prompt this week so I chose a couple of photos from my archives. Maybe I'll spot something new before the day is up. I used the multiple exposure in Picasa to get the photo below.

My Grandson came to visit me at work and while he was there he left me a message on my desk. I thought it would be very appropriate for today.  Enjoy!

Bakerella...

I received Bakerella's Cake Pops Book from my daughter for Christmas. Today I decided to try out the recipe for cake balls. I used a chocolate fudge cake mix, some vanilla icing and some vanilla candy coating from the grocery. I decided to try just a few this time so I only used half of the cake which made about 30 cake balls in all. The rest of the cake is in the freezer to use later. I did get a few crumbs into my candy coating but it isn't really that noticable. I also had a bit of trouble getting them to slide off the spoon after they were coated but all in all they were pretty simple to make. I will be making them again soon, the husband and I think they are quite tasty. I hope I have a few left to take into work tomorrow morning. ; )

Five on Friday...

1. I am proud to say that I am working hard on my one little word " FOCUS".
2. The SUNrise made me happy today. Pretty pink and orange. : )
3. Last weekend I found the perfect new jeans at the Gap.
4. I completed a crochet project this week. I need to pick up a button for it. I will share later.
5. I've been wanting to make these for awhile now. I plan to this weekend.

Ice,Ice,Baby...

We had a bit of an ice storm overnight and today thirty three states in the USA are under a winter storm warning. Thats over half of the USA people. What's up with this crazy weather. I went into work but left at noon for fear of not making it home if we get the weather that is expected. The news is reporting that it may be three times worse than last night. We got about an inch of ice overnight and although its pretty to look at the sound of trees cracking in the wind because they are covered in ice is very unsettling. And of course theres always the chance we could lose power. Boo on Winter!
 I took a few pictures at work and at home today to share with all of you who are missing out on this lovely weather. LOL If you are enjoying some sunshine and warm weather, I beg you, please send some our way. Thank You!
