The Glow and A Big Ol' Bunny...

I have finally gotten around to editing a few of the pictures from the GLOW at IMS. It has been one hundred years since the balloons were at IMS and even though I wasn't feeling well, there was no way I was gonna miss it. The rain held off and the weather was beautiful. Take a look at that beautiful blue sky. They did a full glow and a twinkle glow with the balloons off and on for one hour. The Energizer Bunny, which you can read about here even made an appearance. Later they even had fire works which I also LOVE! The balloons are absolutely beautiful at night. I think the twinkle glow was my favorite. The husband even enjoyed himself. He keeps saying "you just had to be there."

If things at work or school aren't going your way, put them on pause. If you're not in control, then ask whoever is sitting behind the wheel to pull over -- you want to get out. There is something to be said for going along with the group conscience, but you cannot stay involved with stuff you are unsure of -- even if things work out to everyone else's satisfaction, you're still going to be left wondering what could have been.

Hot Air Balloon Race IMS 09...

Yeah, the rain held off long enough this morning and the race was on. I still have my fingers crossed that it will hold off tonight so that we can see the GLOW. Everyone was looking for the Energizer Bunny Balloon which is said to be 15 feet taller than the Statue of Libery but it was not on the field with the rest of the balloons. We did see the trailer leaving as we were so we are thinking that with it being so tall that maybe the weather wasn't right for it to fly.
