Irish Fest 08...
My husband and I have been going to this event for a few years now. The husband likes a beer now and then but I'm not much of a beer or whiskey drinker, which seems to be a big part of Irish Fest but we love to listen to the bag pipes, the bands and watch the dancers. This year we got to see the bagpipes and a couple of the bands but we didn't get to see the actual Irish dancers. One of the bands did do a little dancing. We could watch them dance for hours. The bottom half of their bodies move like crazy while the top half doesn't seem to move much at all. If you've never watched Irish dancers and get a chance to see them. Do it! It's amazing.! Oh and if by any chance there is Irish Bread Pudding on the menu Try It! Yummi!

Stadium Concert Pictures 08...
First let me say... I WILL NEVER ATTEND A STADIUM CONCERT AGAIN. The first (4) acts Brother Trouble, Luke Bryan, Gary Allan and Leann Rimes totally sucked. The sound was terrible (is there a word worse than terrible?) if there is it was that. The roof was closed right up until Keith Urban came on. They opened the roof and OH MY things got alot better. Keith Urban was absolutely wonderful. Our Grandson found a girl (older girl I might add) and had himself a blast. They were dancing in the aisle, singing and playing their air guitars. He kept asking me if this was the last song or not? He was so worried that Keith Urban might not play his favorite songs (which by the way is about all of them). Takes this after his Nana. He loves the music, I love the whole package. IYKWIM! Now I could go on and on about the Great Keith Urban but I won't this time. Kenny Chesney also put on a good show. He has a real neat set up (sand pit, stage, lights etc.) I'd say Keith Urban is more about the music and Kenny Chesney is more about the show. Let me recant my first statement. If Keith Urban is there I will consider going. I think if our seats would have been close to the stage things would have been better. We were on the floor but 37 rows back from the stage. All in all we did have a good time. Our Grandson was worn out by about 11:00 PM so we left a little early. We missed KC and KU singing the last song together. Darn It!
Guess Who?

Total Excitement...
Yeah Baby-This time tomorrow we will be here at the
to see this
It will be the first concert at the new Lucas Oil Stadium. The roof retracts when the weather is good but wouldn't you know it we are expecting rain tomorrow. We haven't had rain in like forever so it only seems right that it would come now. I guess we should be happy that the roof closes. Hey the way our weather changes who knows what tomorrow will bring. One things for sure-we are going to have a blast (as my Grandson would say) I'm not sure if I'm more excited about the concert itself (you see Keith Urban will be there) or the fact that my Grandson is going with us. I can't wait to see his reaction to all this. I'll let you all know how it goes. There was a big write up in today's paper about the show:
"Poets and Pirates" tour
Production cost (not including artist fees): $1.4 million
Stage demensions: 164 feet wide, more than 70 feet high ( That's a Big Ol' Stage)
Concert video: More than 2,400 Sq. ft of LED display
Trucks on tour: 55
Buses on tour: 28
There will be 5 artist: Headliner:Kenny Chesney with Keith Urban, LeAnn Rimes (don't care much for her these days) Gary Allan and Luke Bryan. I'm telling you "That Kenny" really knows how to bring a party to town.
If you've read this I'll bet you know who I'm going to see:)
Have a Great Weekend!

Update on the Precious Little One...
Can you believe she is (3) weex old today. How time flies. After work today I had plans to go see her but I have a tire on the ol' vehicle that need some serious attention. It's been that way for a week or so now and I thought the dear husband would take care of it but that hasn't happened as of yet. Note to self ( get tire fixed tomorrow). So if your a bit curious on how things are going with Jayna, Mom and Dad take a peek here . Hey I think I've finally figured this link thing out! Yeah for me. LOL! I do seem to be getting a little better at this blog stuff :)
